Hillstone St. Lucia wedding - Sophie + Greg - Brisbane wedding photographer - Raw Design Media
My last wedding, for last year was a beauty! I thought i'd better blog it quickly before my wedding season for 2017 starts!
I am so in love with this beautiful wedding at Hillstone St Lucia. The gorgeous bride was a dream in her Carla Zampatti dress and her girls, oh her girls in their convertible multi-where bridesmaid dresses!!!!!! I am on christmas holidays right now but couldn't help blog this beautiful wedding.
Picture this; a wedding set in a secret garden, a beautiful courtyard space surrounded by manicured hedging, and standing in the middle of it all an elegant bride in a stunning (two piece) modern, Carla Zampatti wedding dress and her groom wearing a dashing suit, oozing personal style with his long dreadlocks. Looked on lovingly by their closest family and friends. A brief ceremony full of loving looks, quite moments and celebrated with rose petals thrown at the giddy couple.
The reception was just as romantic and intimate, located upstairs in Hillstones' Queenslander style venue in their Rosewood room. Given it's name because of the beautifully polished wooden rosewood floors, complete with its own verandah and sweeping views of a rolling green golf course. Delicate florals in mismatched glass vases (with selected flowers, matching the stunning mixed peonie and floral wedding bouquets, thanks to Flowers by Julia Rose) adorned the simply decorated space, save for a delicious lolly bar set up on entrance and a three tier naked cake topped off in some beautiful florals. The cocktail style reception was warm, intimate and full of belly laughs from the hilarious and heart felt speeches.
"Dear Bex, Thank you for making our wedding day photography so relaxed and personable. Your presence was truly calming and your beautiful personality was commented on by many of our guests. Thank you again for making our day so special. Love Sophie and Greg"
Put your feet up, grab a cuppa and have a look at what love looks like. Done simply.
