4074 Rocks Riverside Family Fun Day - Brisbane photographer

The 4074 and surrounding suburbs, proudly held its second Community Fun Day, last Sunday the 1st of May, thanks again to Lisa Baillie and her hardworking team! Even though the rain was determined to set in & drizzle for the majority of the day, it didn't stop our community from turning up in their wellingtons & rain coats, and support our local, talented & hard working vendors, who raised funds to support two wonderful local organisations, Project: Love & Care and Mount Ommaney Special School. What a turn out! I couldn't be more proud to be part of such a vibrant, warm and engaging neighbourhood, who crowded into the market stalls to check out everything that was on offer. Some of the highlights from the day would have to be Just Poppy's hamburger eating competition... Whoa!? Those burgers were huge!! Even bigger was the crowd that got in nice and close to watch the contestants try & eat their way to be number one! Although it was touch and go, there was one clear winner who took the trophy home. Next up was the Cake bake competition sponsored by Cakes Around Town. The detail and effort that went into these cakes was evident, with everyone lining up to sample a taste, after all the winners had been announced! Lisa Terare and her  Remax Innovations crew, put on a great show with toddlers of all ages bopping to their tunes, and Kiwanis Club Brisbane kept everyone well fed. There really was something for everyone! I am still editing and sorting through the images of the day, but here is a taster below of some of the highlights!
